Text

I seem to live in a world of text. Whenever I post things to the Internet, the messages only seem to contain text. VERY rarely do I attach a photo to something. And when I say that my posts are only text, I really mean it in the very definition of the word. I never use emoticons. EVER. Only text when it come to me. In a sense, it's kind of sad that there is this person who writes mass amount of content, and there is only one or two images that can be attributed to the author. But on the other hand, it makes the writer a mysterious entity capable of posting whatever, wherever and not having a face to identify them. I'm still torn about if I should change my ways...

Blogging

There have been several times during the past year that I have thought to write a blog post on here. Although I have each time formulated a plan for how the post would look and flow, I have just never committed to writing it. I have the time to write it, I know that, but I never can be bothered to open up Firefox and log-on to Blogger. Blogging for me will truly take off when someone invents a device that is implanted into the mind and posts thoughts.

Privacy

After receiving a talk from an ex-cop at school about internet safety, I've changed all of my passwords to a super high-quality bullet proof one. In the process of doing that, I've also migrated over from an old email address to a new one. It's kind of sad actually. Watching all of your previous emails sitting around gathering dust. *sigh*

Google+

So I hear that Google+ is now "is open to all!". "Oh joy," I think. "Now I can accept that invitation that I got ages ago." Clicking on the link, I get a message saying that I cannot log into Google+ because I am not old enough.

Sad faces all around. I was promised this service was "open to all", but now my dreams are shattered. Google+ was to be my first true social networking site. I'm not on Facebook. I never signed up for MySpace or Bebo. And Twitter is nothing more than a glorified news site. Google+ was to be the website that pulled me out of the dark ages. But, alas, it seems that a 17 year-old Internet addict can't get onto Google's brand new service. I'll just have to wait a little longer.

Cars

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Pixar fan. But this sequel is getting me worried. Could this movie be the first flop that Pixar has made? Probably not. Kids will watch anything these days. But I'm not sure how I'll go watching it. It may be the first Pixar film that I didn't like. The original did have it's down sides. Owen Wilson voicing the main man was a big problem of mine. But despite that, the film was really good. It didn't need a sequel. Now they have announced a second movie that takes place around the world. This could be bad...
